Transition to High School

In the run up to the October closing date for applications for High School, the local schools visit the Year 5 and Year 6 children to outline a little bit about their schools and invite them to Open evenings or tours of the school. They also usually bring along ex-Norwood pupils, who give a short presentation about life at their respective school and answer questions from our children.

The closing date for secondary school admissions is 31st October 2024.

The National offer day for Secondary school admissions is 3rd March 2025.

High school transition day in Sefton is Thursday 26th June 2025, when the vast majority of Year 6 children will be making their visit to their allocated high school.
