Attainment 2024
Attainment at the end of Key Stage 2
At the end of KS2 (Year 6), children undertake SATs that reflect the curriculum which has been taught. The outcome of these tests will give each child and the cohort a scaled score. Their raw score - the actual number of marks they have obtained - will be translated into a scaled score, which helps to allow for differences in the difficulty of the tests from year to year so that pupils' results can be compared accurately. Parents will be told their child's raw score, scaled score and whether they have reached the expected national standard for that subject.
This will give you:
the percentages of KS2 pupils who achieved the expected standard in reading, writing and maths
the average progress of pupils in reading, writing and maths since KS1
the percentage of pupils who have achieved higher standards in reading, writing and maths scores
the average 'scaled scores' for reading and maths .
