Y6 'Taster Day' at Stanley High School

Class: Year 6 Year: 2016-17

Year 6 visited Stanley High this week to sample some lessons that they are likely to be taught when they move to high school. Activities included; Using artefacts to prompt discussion and writing in history, investigating chemical reactions in science and learning how to long jump into a sandpit! It was a fun, yet exhausting day and a real eye-opener to a day in the life of a Year 7 pupil.
