Visit from the Police Officers

Class: Year 1 Year: 2016-17

On Tuesday afternoon we also had a visit from the community police officers, Andy and Eve. They told us all about police uniforms, what police officers do, how police dogs and horses are used and the different type of police vehicles. Police officer Andy then took us outside and the children got to go into a police jeep that is used on the beach and can even go under water. There was also a cage in the back of the vehicle where people go when they have been arrested. Some of our children had a go at getting locked in the cage!
