Y6 Trip to Stanley High School

Year 6 visited Stanley High School on Friday 14 September to sample some 'Taster' lessons, in preparation for transition to high school next year.

The day was packed with exciting and fun filled lessons: from making and launching rockets in Science, desiigning a farm in maths, to gaining the opportunity to 'win' gold medals in Sports Hall Athletics.

All the children had a superb day and agreed that it was a unique opportunity to experience a day in high school.

See the Gallery section for some photos of the day :)
