Transition to High School
In the run up to the October closing date for applications for High School, the local schools visit the Year 5 and Year 6 children to outline a little bit about their schools and invite them to Open evenings or tours of the school. They also usually bring ex-Norwood pupils who give a short presentation about life at their respective school and answer questions from our children.

The closing date for secondary school admissions is 31st October 2023.

The National offer day for Secondary school admissions is 1st March 2024.
High school transition day is Thursday 27th June 2024, when the vast majority of Year 6 children will be making their visit to their selected high school.
All the arrangements for this day are made by the high schools, so for further information please contact them directly.
