School Opening Times

School Opening Hours

Arrival

  • The school gates will open at 8.20am and the playground will be supervised by staff from 8.30am
  • Doors to all classrooms will be open to all children from 8.35am
  • The whistle will blow at 8.45am and children will make their way to class
  • School officially starts at 8.50am
  • The school gates will close at 8.50am and entry to school will then only be via the office.

Registers are taken each morning and afternoon and close promptly at 8.55am and then at 1.15pm respectively.

Pupils arriving after these times will be marked as 'absent'. Any children arriving after these times should report to the school office. The register will be amended with an acceptable explanation regarding the late arrival.

Closing

  • The finishing time for Reception children is 3.05pm.
  • The finishing time for Year 1 and Year 2 children is 3.10pm.

Children in Reception and KS1 are collected from their respective areas in front of their classrooms.

  • The rest of the school (KS2) finishes at 3.15pm.

Children in Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 are collected from their respective entry/exit doors from the main part of the school.

Children in Year 6 are collected from the rear of the building.
